the love list

THIS WEEK I'M LOVING the royal wedding and sharing Bishop Curry with the world + Pentecost joy + beautiful sunshine + strawberry mousse + primary voting + finding a surprise "solution" on my front steps

I went to my cousin's house to watch the royal wedding with friends. It was a fun morning of mimosas and blueberry scones and laughter.

The next day was Pentecost and I was surprised to find red balloons in the church. (We typically don't do that sort of thing.)

On Thursday we went to my mom's retirement luncheon. It was so moving and a wonderful celebration of her twenty-seven years at Transylvania.

Imagining a World Where Love is the Way

When love is the way, poverty will become history.
When love is the way, the Earth will be a sanctuary.
When love is the way, there’s plenty good room—plenty good room—for all God’s children.
— Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, Michael Curry

I also started playing with digital collage this week and I love it.

I used to work in collage a lot but one misguided day, I got rid of my huge magazine stash and ever since then, I haven't been able to do much.

I'm happy to be able to move collage around again.

So, it's been a full busy week (with heavy UV rays) and it looks to be a busy weekend ahead.

I hope yours is delightful.
