the love list

It’s Friday and that means, it’s time for the Love List.

This week has been all about painting Your Sacred Word paintings - and it will be that way around here into February.

I’m so moved by the response to this offering, and so happy to be creating these paintings!

The answers to that question were thrilling:

  • The rush of the ocean The stars reflecting in the water The explosion: a volcano? Fire? The sun setting in a glorious show?

  • I see Jesus or a Divine Light Being following a woman in a protective way.

  • I see something rising from the center.

  • I see two protective beings that look like they're sending their child into life with energy forces around them.

  • The evergreening of the spirit.

  • First I saw butterfly, then I saw sunset!

I dropped off a painting for exhibition this week, got back to EFM, and went to two yoga classes, where I could really tell a difference in how my body was able to move.

I even had a brief moment where I thought about crow pose. Just thought about.

Everyday, the moments I love the most come when I pick my nieces up from school. I can’t even tell you how much I cherish this time with them.

I suppose it doesn’t really matter, (file it under “what other people think is none of my business”) but I’ve noticed that people sometimes think that creative entrepreneurs, the self-employed, home workers, and freelancers don’t actually work, or somehow have all this free time in which to float around. That’s actually not true. Paige Brunton breaks it down with Here’s how much I work & what I actually do in a day as a creative entrepreneur.

But I also drink tea, and I’ve been enjoying this in the evenings.

So far, 2019 has been both busy and peaceful.

We enjoyed sunshine and warm temps earlier this week, but I hear tell we’re going to get snow tomorrow, of an “undetermined” amount.

I’m all for snow, as long as it happens on the weekends when I don’t have to drive.

Have a beautiful weekend.
