the love list

It’s Friday and I’m listing what I loved this week

because noticing moments of beauty, sparks of wisdom, and good things really does make a difference.

I’m reorienting to new energy and a new schedule this week, drinking a lot of coffee (naturally,) and imagining what it’s going to feel like when this temperature takes it down a few notches.

I heard some deeply profound things this week, including:

Fr. Hendree’s sermon

This Ram Dass lecture

This episode of Another Name for Everything

Tracy and I went to lunch yesterday at Lexington Diner. It was good - I do appreciate a menu that has meal-sized salads and fresh fruit on the list of sides.

Is there meaning in lighting a digital candle?

So cool.

I watched

She Makes Comics on Netflix is good. I’m also loving the BH9021 reboot. Last night, I watched the first episode of the Americans. It’s a show Tracy loves and I see why. I’m hooked now, two.

Our little neighbor made us this little house. It’s wired for light and has two little magnetized bunnies who live in it. It’s really amazing.

This weekend, I’m going to yoga class, church, and a meditative peace walk.

I have paintings to get in the mail, birthday gifts to wrap, and rooms to be organized.

This is also the weekend of Woodland Art Fair, so I might pass through there, too.

Right now, I’m going to pour another cup and sit a little longer by my selenite lamp before I get up and get going.

I hope you have a beautiful weekend.
