the love list

It’s Friday - and the first week of September- and this is the Love List

because noticing moments of love and beauty and wisdom really does make a difference.

This week gave an abundance of golden late summer light.

And also a lot of heat and humidity. It is Kentucky, after all.

This week was super busy and as I look at my calendar I’m thinking the whole month is shaping up to be pretty busy. That’s good - it means things are moving and rearranging and life force is swirling through everything!

Links I Loved

Return to a gentle God.

These meditative paintings by Arghavan Khosravi are amazing.

Topanga light.

There’s so much in these images.

The life of common prayer.

The latest on sound healing.

So into this.

I Watched

We finished season 2 of Mindhunter, perhaps the best TV show ever made, and I watched Armistead Maupin’s Tales of the City, which makes me fall in love with San Francisco.

Enrollment opened this week for two Prayer Painting Workshops I’m going to lead at Your Spirit Sparkle in Ennis, Texas, in October! I’m so excited to be traveling, meeting Megan and Heather in person at last, and circling with other women for a meditative art making experience. I would LOVE to see you there. You can find more information and sign-up here.

If you’re in the Kentucky area, you can join me for a women’s retreat weekend at Bethany Spring Retreat Center on September 20. I’d love to see you there!

I’m off to another Yin/Yoga Nidra class tonight. This is my favorite thing to do on a Friday evening.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I love you.
