Welcome to the weekend, and welcome to the Love List, where I name what I loved this week. What did you love?
This week I’m loving new moon dreams + Mother's Day family times + looking forward to Bishop Curry preaching at the royal wedding + thinking about the energetics of joy + front porch visits
THIS WEEK I'M LOVING Oprah's Golden Globes speech + getting back to EFM + incredibly slow mornings + a little warm-up + Halo Top (not new to me, but I'm rediscovering it) + Beverly Hills 90210 on Hulu (Listen. It makes me feel young.)
THIS WEEK I'M LOVING the quiet contemplative Blue Christmas service at the Cathedral + getting commissions sent out + my homemade coffee spice blend (what...did I say that last week?) + poetry readings in new independent bookstores + clarity + blanket scarves + the new season of The Crown.
THIS WEEK I'M LOVING golden leaves + little girls wearing the silver pipe cleaner halos they made in children's chapel, bringing the elements forward on All Saints Sunday + the two babies who screamed through their baptism + Danica Roem + learning more about Edgar Cayce and daydreaming about a trip to Hopkinsville to see where it all happened.
THIS WEEK I'M LOVING listening to every Tom Petty song (Oh, I'm so sorry to see you go, Tom) + opening up and actively listening at Wellness Circle + painting coffee cups (paintings of coffee cups, not painted cups) + fresh smashed guacamole+ deep study of Genesis and having some of my understandings of what scripture actually is confirmed + the rust and golden mums on everybody's front porch
