Hello. I’m Lori-Lyn.
Here are some ways we can work together:
Request a Personal Prayer Painting.
Enroll in Fill up Your Cup, an 11-day home study to help you build your meditation practice.
Invite me to lead a workshop or retreat.
Support me on Patreon. You’ll find energy and intuitive work there, as well as fiction writing.
I have a BA in studio art and an MFA in fiction writing.
I’ve studied theology in the summer program at Christ Church, Oxford, and I’m in my third year of EFM (a four-year learning certificate program in theological study.)
I am attuned to Reiki III.
You can find my education and work history here.
I live with a man who is a photographer, musician, and restorer of old homes.
We met in high school in the late eighties and we’ve been partnered since 2001, when I moved back to Kentucky after ten years in New York City.
We are companions to two extremely domesticated pugs and one semi-wild cat.
They are pretty much the bosses around here.
We have three nieces to whom we are deeply devoted.
We adore the West Coast, and not-so-secretly wish for an opportunity to live in California part-time.
I’ve been following Bright Line Eating since September 2018, which means I can no longer say in my bio that chocolate cake and champagne is my favorite meal, as I don’t consume either of those things.
I do, however, still love coffee. A good almond milk latte is my love language.
An almond milk latte at an outdoor cafe in California? Absolute bliss.
Here’s a brief list of things I enjoy: liturgical worship, walking in the woods, collecting crystals and arranging them around my house, the tarot, creating Spotify playlists, watching movies from the 60s and 70s, salt bathing, sunset in Laurel Canyon, thrift shopping, richly scented candles, collecting hippie cookbooks, when my dogs wag their tails in their sleep.
It’s my wish to live my life with an open mind and an open heart, guided by intuition and curiosity, and trusting in my path as it appears before me.
This is also how I seek to work - to paint and write and share space with others - in the spirit of healing and unconditional love.
I hope that when you meet me, you leave feeling free, fully seen and supported, as if we just shared a cup of coffee on the front porch, in our leopard print pajamas and kimono robes, warm sun on our skin, cool breeze in our hair.
I’d love to work with you and I’d love to hear from you.
