Welcome to the Entry Room, a gentle place to begin.
You don't need permission to call yourself a writer. You just need somewhere to practice being one.
The Entry Room is five short video modules, each paired with a worksheet you can print, scribble on, and use as you like. Watch one, do the prompt, move to the next whenever you're ready. There's no deadline here and no one grading your homework. This is the room where you get reacquainted with your own voice before anyone else hears it.
Some of you will stay here a while. Some of you will finish all five modules and realize you're hungry for company. That's what The Circle is for, when you're ready.
The Circle Rule
Before you press play on Module One, one ground rule, though you won't need it alone in this room the way you will later, in The Circle. Here it is anyway, because it's the whole philosophy this course is built on: before critique, before fixing, before "here's what I'd change," you name what's working. What you love. What's already true on the page.
