Welcome to The Constellation Room and Creative Living Diaries, owned and operated by Lori-Lyn Hurley (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://www.lorilynhurley.com (the "Site") and any products, courses, digital downloads, live events, or mentoring services we offer (collectively, the "Services").

By using the Site or purchasing any Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site or Services.

1. Who We Are

The Constellation Room is a writer's circle offered in three tiers: self-paced digital content( the Entry Room), live seasonal small-group gatherings (the Circle), and 1:1 mentoring (the Inner Sanctum). It is part of Creative Living Diaries, the broader creative platform of Lori-Lyn Hurley.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use our Services. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Purchases and Payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted.

  • Payments are processed securely through our website platform's checkout system (Squarespace). We do not directly store your payment information.

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete payment and billing information.

  • We reserve the right to change pricing for any tier or offering at any time. Changes will not affect purchases already completed.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds are available within five days of purchase of the Circle or the Inner Sanctum. To request a refund, contact us at lorilyn@gmail.com.

5. Digital Products and Access

  • Digital downloads, courses, and pre-recorded video content are for your personal, non-commercial use only.

  • You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or share access credentials for any paid content, course material, or membership area.

  • Access to live sessions (Zoom gatherings, group calls) is limited to enrolled participants for that season and is non-transferable.

6. Live Sessions and Mentoring

  • Live gatherings and 1:1 mentoring sessions are scheduled at set times. It is your responsibility to attend at the scheduled time; missed sessions may not be rescheduled or refunded, depending on the policy in place at the time of purchase.

  • The Constellation Room, including the Inner Sanctum mentoring tier, is a creative and educational offering. It is not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for mental health care. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek support from a licensed professional or emergency services.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and within the Services, including but not limited to written material, course content, prompts, workbooks, video, audio, and the "Constellation Room" and "Creative Living Diaries" names and branding, is the property of Lori-Lyn Hurley unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our written permission.

Any material you submit or share within the Circle or mentoring sessions (your writing, feedback, discussion) remains your own intellectual property. By participating, you grant us permission to use anonymized or aggregated insights from group discussions for the purpose of improving our offerings, but we will never publish or share your original creative work without your explicit permission.

8. Community Conduct

Participants in the Circle and other group offerings agree to engage respectfully and in good faith. We reserve the right to remove any participant from a group setting, without refund, whose conduct is abusive, harassing, or disruptive to the group.

What is shared within the Circle is intended to stay within the Circle. Participants agree not to record sessions or share other members' personal stories, writing, or identities outside the group without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is." While we're committed to offering thoughtful, well-prepared content and sessions, we make no guarantees about specific creative, publishing, or personal outcomes from participating in the Constellation Room.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lori-Lyn Hurley and Creative Living Diaries shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or Services.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
